Recipe FAQs

What cheeses work best for the skewers?

Mild cheddar and gouda are great choices for balanced flavor and texture, but Emmental or Monterey Jack can also be used for variation.

Can I use other types of grapes?

Yes, green grapes work well and add a nice color contrast to the skewers.

How should the grapes be prepared?

Wash thoroughly and dry the grapes completely to prevent moisture from making the skewers soggy.

Is there a suggested garnish or finishing touch?

Fresh mint leaves add aroma and color, and a light drizzle of honey can enhance the sweet and salty flavor profile.

How far in advance can these skewers be assembled?

They are best enjoyed fresh but can be made a few hours ahead and stored in the refrigerator, covered to maintain freshness.
